Summary: Mostly a character study—Buffy comes to the Hyperion following the big fight in the alley. I dedicate this one to rockstarpeach and shanmara. I know this isn’t the New Year’s fic I promised, but that one never got done and this one just kinda came out of nowhere. I hope it’s an ok substitute. No smut though—sorry.

I just wanted to say thanks to whomever nominated "Aftermath" at the forbiddenawards under the "Banging Them Bloody" category. That's just really cool--my first ever nomination! :) Now, if only the Steelers could get it together against the Broncos, I might just have a perfect day.

This rings very true for me. Truth be told, I never would have entered the world of fandom if it hadn't been for ares132006. She''s awesome, y'all. Supportive, kind...just an all around amazing friend. I'm lucky to have her in my life, and I never would have met her without the internet. This experience has been amazing. And, it's all thanks to her. She rocks.
